I am now reading the book “Wherever you are, there you go”.
It’s full of great tips for those interested in exploring mindfulness.
It’s also a book I would recommend to those who would like to start meditating.
Going through the pages, I realised that most of the times I am not in the moment.
I also realised that most of the times I don’t see the things for what they are but rather I see them as a reflection of something coming from me.
They either remind me of something that happened in the past, generally something negative, or remind me of something I need to do in the future.
Since I became mindful about this, I have been trying to focus more on the present moment.
I am trying to do so by meditating more regularly.
I am also trying to do by being mindful about catching my mind when it leaves the present moment and bringing it back by focusing on my breath.
I have practiced this for 2-3 days but it already seems that my mind, less tired from wandering around, is working more creatively than usual.
