Today has been the first day that I feel in relatively good shape since I got back from Italy.
I have been going back to the gym daily since this past Monday. The strength workouts were OK but I was struggling with the running.
Today I did intervals for a total of 3.6 Km at a decent 5:27 / Km average pace and overall I felt good.
Yesterday I checked my weight and in the last month I went from 70.25 Kg to 72.30 Kg.
It was kind of expected. I definitely overate in Italy as a sort of coping mechanism to deal with stress.
In particular, I indulged in eating nuts and peanut butter, besides other stuff like biscuits.
Yesterday I also sent the documents to the notaio for the first of three apartments that went sale agreed.
My mood is volatile but it’s slowly getting back on track. Yesterday I had an argument with Bianca over a recurring issue we have been dealing with for the past five years.
Today I also managed to go back to reading (“Thinking in Bets”) and did a 10-minute meditation, which felt very good.
Hopefully by next week I will be able to feel my usual me again.
I am considering reaching out to a nutritionist. I found an Italian nutritionist in Dublin, who also happens to be vegan.
I haven’t made up my mind yet.
